Reproduction German WWII Helmet Liner M-31 with aluminum band.

European made best reproduction liner available. They are made in same fashion as originals. Same quality leather cut in same manner assembled on the aluminum outer and steel inter band. Outer band has a maker ( D.R.P. SCHUBERTH-WERK K.-G. BRANSCHWEIG ), date ( 1938 )and size stamp. The Liners are completely assembled and are ready to install in your shell.

How do I install the liner?
 1. Find the rear seam on the outer liner band (there are two rivets and hole)). Place the liner in the shell and line hole up with the rear hole in the shell. Install the first split pin (you will have to hold the inner leather band out of the way while you spread the split pin).
2. Line up the 2 front holes in the shell and liner band, and install the last 2 pins (same as above).

European style wire with correct twists not your Home depot kind. Available in 5 and 6 twists (6 twist pictures). Made out of plain 19 gauge wire that means it will rust if exposed to elements just like the period ones did. Baskets are pre formed to helmet in desired size but you will have to do final fitting (fold the wire over edge of your helmet).

FJ helmets are 68 and 71
