Polish Army in East 1943-1945
In 1943 Stalin decide on creation of Soviet controlled Polish Army that would fight along side of Russian Army. Stalin insisted that New Polish Army use copy of prewar uniforms. It was decided that copy of wz37.Rogatywka, wz.36 Summer weight tunic and wz.36 Wool Greatcoat to be manufactured for new Army. If you are interested in WWII East Front reenactment but don't feel comfortable wearing Soviet Union uniform. I highly recommend 1st Infantry Division reenacted Visit their web-page at lwp.armiam.com

field cap of Polish Army, fold-down earflaps, leather sweatband and
reinforced top. There is embroidered pre war eagle included. Rogatywka
