Double Decals Heer M-35 size 64 helmet This helmet has original apple green finish and it was overpainted in semi rough green-gray which covered both decals. Helmet retains most of its original paint rest is covered in aged rust and patina. At some point someone got curious and attempted to uncover decals but in process both got removed, so reproduction Heer decals were applied and aged to match condition of the helmet. Fitted inside are reproduction of split pins, aged aluminum outer band liner (size 57) and aged early aluminum buckle chinstrap dated 1939. Both codes are covered by texture. Helmet has original soldier inscription inside, painted in white there is "gef" an scratched are "O.Gefr. Brodhag" There is also a small hole punched from inside. |
