What is Armia Militaria?


It is my side project, (besides my regular job) to provide reenactment community with an inexpensive, good quality helmets. Armia Militaria specializes in the restoration and sale of WWII and WWI German and WWII Polish helmets for the re-enactors and collectors. All helmets are restored to authentic WWII and WWI standards, but never sold as originals. I can restore your WWI M-16, M-17, M-18, M-16 Austrian and Benderdorfer helmet including addition of correct liners (M-16, M-17, M-18 and M-31 depending on the helmet) split pins and chinstraps. I can also restore your WWII Polish wz.31 (M.31) helmets or convert the wz.31/50 to correct wz.31 configuration. Restoration includes proper paint job and textureaddition of appropriet liner, chinstrap and necessary bodywork if needed.

Also AM is the only source of complete 1939 Polish inpresion in USA.

Business Philosophy:
My philosophy is to provide good quality restored helmets for re-enactors for an affordable price .Why pay more for the same quality, yeah I do a really good job. Anyway, I am a reenactors and I know that some of us don't have a lot of money to spend on their gear.

How much is the shipping of a helmet?
Usually shipping cost in Continental US comes to $16.00 (insured).

How much time does it take to complete restoration of a helmet?
Time for Completion of a helmet usually take 3 to 7 WEEKS.

Can you paint my Gas mask can, mess kit, ect.
No.

How do you paint, age, … your helmets?
I will not answer questions like this. I spend a lot of time and money perfecting my restoration technique and I will not make my secrets public.

Can you sell me some paint so I can refinish my helmet?
I do not sell paint. I do not have necessary license to mail flammable liquids.

When I email you when do you respond?
I will get back to as soon as possible. I will get to you fairly fast on weekdays you will probably not hear from me during weekends. Please remember this is one-man par-time operation but I respond to every business related emails.
